The Chico State Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) were out in force on Sunday afternoon helping make the campus just a bit more beautiful.  SAAC members and some of their teammates, along with Logan the Wonder Dog, descended on Chico Creek, garbage bags in hand for the annual Creek Clean Up. In just about an hour of work, the group hauled out ten full size garbage bags of garbage and debris from the creek that runs through campus. The annual Creek Clean Up is an important way for student-athletes to give back to their University, as it is an area not serviced by the campus custodial crew.  

Later than evening, SAAC hosted the third annual “Baller’s Ball” dance for Wildcat student-athletes and their dates. Over 200 people attended the dance and all proceeds will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation and local charities.
