CHICO – The annual Chico State Grass Volleyball Tournament, sponsored by the Wildcat women’s volleyball team in association with Volleyzoo, is set to take place Saturday and Sunday, May 1-2. Open to the public, the event offers two days of fun in the sun, spirited competition and prizes.

The Grass Volleyball Tournament will take place behind Nettleton Stadium and University Stadium. Men’s and women’s doubles are scheduled for Saturday, May 1, with reverse coed doubles on Sunday the 2nd. Registration begins at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday, with actual play getting underway at 9:30 a.m. Sunday will also feature a coed costume contest, with a special prize awarded to the team with the best costume. Refreshments will be sold at the tournament.

The cost to participate in Chico State’s Grass Volleyball Tournament is $20 per player per day if you pre-register by Friday, April 30; pre-registration for both days is just $30. Walkup fees will be $25 per player each day.
