The Chico State men’s golf team will host the InterWest Wildcat Classic Oct. 11-12 at Butte Creek Country Club as part of a four-tournament fall schedule. This will mark the only chance for fans to see the Wildcats locally following last year’s third-place finish at the NCAA Championship Tournament.
Chico State opens this fall with a serious bang, playing two tournaments in five days. First they’ll take part in the Saint Martin’s Invitational in Olympia, Wash., Sept. 24-25 and then head north to Bellingham for the Western Washington Invitational Sept. 27-28.
Following the InterWest Wildcat Classic, Chico State will wrap up its fall campaign in style at the Division II Championship Preview in Florence, Ala., at Robert Trent Jones at the Shoals.
The spring schedule is still tentative, but will go online as soon as it’s available.
