Chico State baseball fans that don’t want to wait until 2012 to sneak a peek at the Chico State baseball team have a great opportunity to do so this Thursday through Saturday when the Wildcats play the 19th annual Cardinal and Black Fall Classic at Nettleton Stadium.

The Wildcats will be split into two teams. The Cardinal, under the watch of defending series champion Matt Fonteno, and the Black, led by Mike Hartman. They’ll play a single game Thursday at 3:27 p.m., and doubleheader Friday at 5:27, and the series finale Saturday at 11:27 a.m.

Fonteno’s bunch is led by center fielder Cody Foster and shortstop TJ Yasuhara. Nick Baker and Ryan O’Shea anchor Hartman’s pitching staff.
