The Chico State Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2011 will be honored at the annual Hall of Fame Banquet on Oct. 8 at the Bell Memorial Union Auditorium on the campus of Chico State University.
This 26th Chico State Athletics Hall of Fame class includes 10 outstanding individuals and the 1971 football team that played in the Camellia Bowl. An honorees reception, including hors d’oeuvres and a no-host social hour at 5:30 p.m. will be followed by dinner at 7 o’clock. The program begins at 7:30.
Tickets are $45 each or $340 for a table of eight and can be purchased by calling the Chico State Athletics Department at (530) 898-6470. Please RSVP by Sept. 23.
Once again, an impressive list of inductees will join this exclusive club – Nancy Love Artist, Dan Eckley, Richard Gregory, Edward “Jake Hodges, Chandra “Flinn” Jones, William “Bill” McConnell, Don Steinsiek, Richard Tolette, Jennifer Spoon Wettemann and the 1971 Camellia Bowl football team.
