On the eve of her trip to Kansas for this week's NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, Chico State distance runner Iresh Molina added another honor to her standout season. The Chico native was named Chico Sports Person of the Year by the Enterprise-Record at the 51st annual Chico Sports Hall of Fame and Senior Athletes Banquet. Chico State was well represented throughout the evening. Legendary men's soccer standout Chris Wondolowski, who was enshrined in the National Soccer Hall of Fame earlier this month, was inducted into the Chico Sports Hall of Fame alongside Lindsay Meggs, who guided the Wildcat baseball program to two NCAA national championships.
